I am a 65-year problem solver. Give me an issue to tackle and I am on it.
I was born in Chicago and raised in Oak Park. The first job I ever had was at my Grandfather and Father's Pharmacy: Portes Drugs in Melrose Park, IL.
Standing behind the cosmetics counter, I sold and tested products by Revlon, Coty, Chanel, Yardley, Ponds, and Shalimar, among others. Meanwhile, my Grandfather George concocted healing compounds and taught me that beauty is empty if you aren't healthy.
True beauty, of course, comes from within. But there are all sorts of products and healing modalities that can enhance our natural state.
I am also a natural redhead and a great intuitive once told me that Red is my power color.
The red chakra is the root of emotional, spiritual and physical birth. If well tended to--it provides us with a source of incredible power. By blogging about the people I meet and the products and services I use, I hope to inspire readers (like you!) to move forward in your life.
